We delve into one of four regions on Cape Cod, the Upper Cape, The Mid Cape, the Lower Cape and the Outer Cape.  Explore one of these regions in depth as we explore the waters edge for creatures and discuss the geologic history of Cape Cod.

We'll eat at the best local spots and hit the beach for an seaside adventure.  We'll see historic sites and  learn about our contributions to America's history, politics, ecology and more!

Pick up and drop off at residence.

Be prepared for a variety of adventures!  Hiking, getting wet, exploring, eating and whatever heads our way!

Outer Cape

What Thoreau called a "Wild, Rank Place".  We'll explore Sand Dunes, observe Gray Seals, maybe even see whales just offshore.  Visit Forest trails and view iconic pieces of American History.  Of course we'll sample the best oysters in the world, Wellfleets!

Lower Cape

Classic Cape Cod Charm in Brewster, Harwich, Chatham and Orleans.  We'll see the Coast Guard Beach, site of the events that inspired the film "The Finest Hours".  We'll talk about the dynamic shifting sands of Monomoy and why that has led to a "Shark Summer" right in our backyard.  Breakfast at the famous Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans and exploring the many beaches that harbor Horseshoe Crabs, Clams and Birds galore!

Mid Cape

Visit what was once the most vibrant seaport in the American colonies, explore the tidal flats of Barnstable while talking about the lighthouse and village of Sandy Neck and drive through former President Kennedy's old neighborhood, also site of Taylor Swift's short lived romance purchase.  Historic Barnstable Village, Sesuit Harbor and the Brewster Tidal Flats are on this excursion!

Upper Cape

From Woods Hole to South Cape Beach we'll explore the diverse ecology and wonderful history of the famous area.  Check out breakfast at World Famous Pie in the Sky and visit the Marine Resource Center at MBL.  See the Salt Marshes and wonderful beaches of the Vineyard Sound side of Cape Cod.

All Adventures include a full mobile science lab with Plankton equipment and microscopes; water chemistry analysis equipment; natural history examination gear and guidebooks and a knowledgeable Guide!

Tide Pool Exploration

We visit the Tide Pool and wade in!  Searching for lobsters, crabs,  seastars and sea urchins.  Discover the unique and amazing life that survives at the waters edge.

Salt Marsh Mayhem

Have you ever wondered what makes the low tide smell like low tide?  We'll find out together as we muck around in one of the most important habitats in North America.  We'll find all kinds of critters and learn how they survive in this environment.

I can see for miles and miles and miles.  This seemingly barren landscape is actually teeming with life.  We'll spend hours exploring this unique zone and searching for the creatures that live here.
